Milpas: Ancient Indigenous Agriculture in the Southeastern U.S.

This program will consist of a presentation of the historical connection between the milpas of Mexico and Central America and the Indigenous peoples of the Southeastern United States. The program will also focus on explaining the traditional stewardship practices of the southeastern nations.
