Siempre Tango Ottawa is excited to open the doors to new community members with a Free Beginner Class before the milonga. Plus, we welcome our friend DJ Alexandre Prince (Montreal), in his La Capital debut. About Alex: Formerly notorious for always complaining about music at the milonga, Alexandre had no choice but to try his luck at being a DJ after winning a raffle (and losing a bet) in Buenos Aires. A trained historian and tango fanatic, he draws inspiration from his favorite DJs in Argentina and from the poetry of tango's greatest authors. To carry on their stories, Alex loves to curate well-crafted tandas using gems from the Golden Age of tango.

We are happy to host La Capital at the Westboro Masonic Hall at 430 Churchill Avenue North.

$20 for the milonga
All that being said, I will also not turn anyone away because they cannot afford it. There are volunteer opportunities available in exchange for free entrance. Please email [email protected]!
