Workshop by Marjolayne Auger and Francis "Pancho" Cloutier (MTL): "Connection in Turns"

Immerse yourself in the world of tango turns! This workshop is an ideal opportunity to improve the fluidity, precision and connection in your turns, in order to make them even more harmonious and effective. We will cover the following:
- The structure of turns: How to initiate and conclude your turns with fluidity, precision and consistency.
- Pivots: In-depth work on the pivot technique to gain stability and finesse of movement.
- The bodily relationship with your partner: Develop a finer understanding of your physical interaction, for better adjustment and greater complicity in the dance.
- Respond to the lead: Refine your ability to decode the instructions in the lead and respond to it with precision and responsiveness.

Plongez dans le monde des tours en tango argentin! Cet atelier est une occasion idéale pour améliorer la fluidité, la précision et la connexion dans vos tours, afin de les rendre encore plus harmonieux et efficaces. Nous aborderons les points suivants :

We are happy to host La Capital at the Westboro Masonic Hall at 430 Churchill Avenue North.

Workshop only: $25
Milonga only: $25
Workshop + Milonga: $40
If you come as a couple:
Workshop + Milonga: $70
All that being said, I will also not turn anyone away because they cannot afford it. There are volunteer opportunities available in exchange for free entrance. Please email [email protected]!
