About this Event
During our series of “Milling in the Revolution” we will explore various aspects of milling during the American Revolution. Mills relied on waterpower to operate the machinery that turned wheat into flour. Learn about the different types of wheels, how they are made, and how they work. We will include tour(s) of our water system that powered the wheels. Demonstrations of woodworking will help to illustrate how waterwheels are constructed.
