Ride Description: The Magnificent Millers Dale ride was new D3C for 2023 and had amazing feedback so it's back as a D3C again in 2025. A great training ride due to the terrain. Starting at Beltonville Farm, with fabulous Cafe and farm shop, Millers Dale this ride offers two distance options - 16k and 25k and as always you can decide on the day which distance you are tackling.
So, what do you need to know about this beautiful ride to encourage you to book on?
The views on this ride are amazing! As you ride along quiet roads, bridlepaths and trails you’ll see the area surrounding Millers Dale, Brushfield, Wormhill and Tideswell. Taking in parts of the Monsal Trail including the tunnels and Penine Bridleway this ride offers some challenges in the way of hilly ascents and descents and some stony sections. The longer route involves a steep descent on the Pennine bridleway!
There are also some great grassy sections too as we appreciate that variety is so important when it comes to enjoying our rides. To get to the trail there is a short (300 meters) section of busier road to ride down which will be marshalled and the longer route has one crossing of this road which will also be marshalled.
Due to the terrain on this ride it is not a speedy excursion, rather it is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a well marked route in the beautiful Peak District with a super friendly group of riders!
