SUNGRATERSungrater is a garage and psychedelic rock band from Bend, OR, featuring Andrew Egli (guitar), Rory Isbell (bass), Sean Garvin (drums), and Tarik Rawlings (guitar, vocals). With its members active in various local musical endeavors over the years (Moon Rattles, Bangers, Bony Chanterelle, The Color Study), Sungrater blends various influences from surf rock, acid rock, noisy post-punk, and Middle Eastern music into a dynamic, high-energy sound.
LONG DEER
We are Long Deer, a psychedelic garage punk band from Portland, Oregon, possessed by the Pacific Northwest's long lost cryptid of the same name. Long Deer is an ever morphing beast, blending the genre of rock with their own contemporary sound in an unexpected and refreshing way. Their presence at live shows pulses with energy, sweat, and stage jumps keeping the audience on their toes until the last note.
MILK FOR THE ANGRY
Milk For The Angry were born in the hills outside San Francisco in 2017, and have been fermenting ever since in crash spaces and warehouses around the Bay Area. Since their formation, they have released five albums and an EP, in the process experimenting with fuzz and buzz as well as various psychedelic avenues to arrive at the rounded glow of their latest release “Powder Trails on Fire”. Live, Milk For The Angry bring their proud and colorful freak flags and don’t fly them more than wrap them around your face and twirl viciously. Their shows are caches of raw energy, incessant and unpredictable, exciting and electric, the sorts of affairs you end up getting gloriously lost in. And probably because they’re better at the actual ‘art’ bit of being a band than the ‘selling your ass’ bit: They had a brush with mainstream media in January 2019 when Fox KTVU 2 did an article about an impromptu jam they had with their neighbor Cleopatra coined “ The Jumper Cable Jam,” which quickly became an internet smash. Since then Milk For The Angry has also been featured on A&E twice, once on “Neighborhood Wars” and again on “Neighborhood Wars: The Aftermath.” The lineup currently consists of Dana Lindstrom (vocals, guitar), Michael Masters (guitar, vocals), Zach Zepeda (bass), and Eddie Virtgaym (drums). -Steffan Chirazi (SOUNDS, KERRANG!, RIP, BAM and SPIN)
