About this Event
Learn drypoint printmaking on an incredibly acessible material - recycled milk cartons and tetra packs! Students will create a drawing on milk cartons (the "plate") using intaglio tools, ink up their plate, and print using our traditional etching printing press.
Drypoint produces a unique line quality and embossed surface that is oh so magical to reveal during the printing process. This class is perfect for people who like to draw or explore new mediums!
This class is taught by multimedia artist Glenn Hendrick.
This class is held at the Art Barn at the new Alchemy Art Farm at 45 Hawthorne Lane. Directions and parking information will be included in your confirmation email.
Registration: Please register early if you are able, as it helps us to assure that classes meet their minimums in order to run! If you register more than three weeks before this class begins, a 20% early bird discount will automatically be applied to your ticket at checkout.
