Miles for Margaret 2026

Miles For Margaret is a philanthropic 5K race created to honor Margaret Lowe, a Pi Beta Phi sister who passed away unexpectedly in 2015. The race allows Pi Phi sisters, family members, and the greater UVA and Charlottesville community to come together and celebrate Margaret's wild and precious life. It reminds all of us to live our lives to the fullest and to continue to spread sunshine, just as Margaret did. All proceeds raised from the 5K race are donated in Margaret's honor to Read>Lead>Achieve, Pi Beta Phi's national philanthropy. The Read>Lead>Achieve initiative works to improve the literacy rate in American children and inspire a lifelong passion for reading. We hope to see you there! Check-in for the event will begin at 10:00 am at the Amphitheater. Bring your student or government ID.
