Experience the magic of Mikilele SBK Soirée — Ottawa’s signature Latin and Afro social dance night where rhythm, culture, and community meet. Each soirée features two vibrant rooms, live DJs, inspiring workshops, and performances that celebrate connection through music and dance.
Whether you love Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Kizomba, Zouk, or Kompa, this is where Ottawa’s dance community comes together to share energy, joy, and passion — one beat at a time.
🎓 Workshops
Every soirée begins with One one or two 45-minute dance workshops, designed for all levels.
💃 Example lineup:
- 7:30 PM – Semba Workshop with Angola Terra
- 8:15 PM – Bachata Workshop with Shakiru (ÀSÀ Dance Production)
No partner required — come ready to learn, move, and connect!
🎧 Two Rooms, One Vibe!
🪩 Latin Room – Salsa, Bachata, Merengue
🎶 Featuring DJs like Soul, Kremax, Luis, and Mikilele
🌍 Afro Room – Kizomba, Zouk, Kompa, Afrobeat
🔥 Featuring DJs Mikilele, Vii, Suavé, and guest selectors
🕘 Schedule
- Doors open: 7:00 PM
- Workshops: 7:30 PM – 9:00 PM
- Social Dance: 9:00 PM – 12:00 AM (Latin Room)
- Afro Room continues until 1:00 AM!
