MIKE MUNSON TRIO
The Mike Munson Trio elevates and enhances Mike's rich catalog of songs that feature his adept slide guitar playing and a reverence for tradition. He is joined by the powerful rhythm section comprised of Nick Salisbury on bass and Lars-Erik Larson on drums. Each member brings years of experience and an inclination for improvisation to the stage. Together they explore new territory, creating a sound that dances between early American rock and roll, gritty blues and modern jazz.

Mike Munson is most comfortable with a guitar in his hands. With a reverence for the history of American music his songs demonstrate his own evolution as a performer and his deep attachment to place. His sound explores the connections between blues, American primitive instrumentals and early rock and roll.
