Celebration of Mike Hood ‘Captain Smurf’ A Final Ride - A procession to Chanterlands Avenue crematorium will be arranged in due course by EAST YORKSHIRE MAG;
Currently we are planning for this to start Dawson Drive, Hull HU6 7AB, near to Haworth Park Rugby Club. The meeting for this point is at 1300 hours in preparation for the procession to set off at 13:30 onwards.
Haworth rugby club are going to put staff on 1100-1400 to supply hot and cold drinks from the bar upstairs - including hot food such as bacon sandwiches.
All proceeds go to running the football ground so it’s a good cause too.
The overwhelming response to Mike's passing leads us to believe that many will want to pay their respects. Therefore, East Yorkshire MAG have kindly offered to coordinate Mike's final ride.
Additional information about the route will be shared shortly.
There will be a live online feed for those unable to attend in person. Details on how to access this will be added when they become available.
