In the depths of winter, demons like Krampus and witches like Frau Perchta, AKA Mother Holle, stalk the frozen wastes of remote Alpine and Scandinavian communities.
Local authors Paul Light and Tom Johnstone present two chilling tales in the cosy setting of Found Café, on the edge of Preston Park. In 'The Things I Saw When I Wasn't Looking', Paul Light tells a Christmas-themed tale of a fairy's revenge; in 'Snow as Soft as Feathers', (co-written by Tom and award-nominated Canadian author Colleen Anderson) a girl, a boy and their neglectful father are under siege from Mother Holle and the Wild Hunt on Orkney on the longest night of the year...
