Midsummer Music is once more bringing chamber music to the Chilterns! This much-loved chamber music festival will run its 17th edition from Thursday 25th to Saturday 27th June at beautiful St Mary's Church in Old Amersham.
Artistic directors, PAUL LEWIS piano and BJØRG LEWIS cello, have put together five glorious concerts over three days at St Mary's Church, Old Amersham in this lovely spot in the Chilterns.

This year has a wonderfully diverse range of works: some known, others waiting to be discovered. Composers ranging from Beethoven to Mel Bonis, Ravel to Rebecca Clarke. Along the way -Schubert's Adagio & Rondo Concertante; piano sonatas by Mozart; Debussy's L'Isle joyeuse; Poulenc's flute and piano sonata; Schumann's Adagio & Allegro for cello and piano; Grazyna Bacewicz's Piano Quintet No. 1 - and many more brilliant and engaging works.
