Nottingham-based Midnight Rodeo are a collective of five close friends who met on the city’s live circuit. Signing with FatCat Records in 2022, they’ve released four singles to date, and now their debut album, “Chaos Era”, released July 2025. They have received consistent national and international press support for their first 4 singles (CLASH, So Young, Under The Radar, Brooklyn Vegan), and have sold out 3 record releases in their hometown, alongside a relentless touring schedule around the UK & Europe.
Their sound is unique in its combination of a powerful groove laden rhythm section, alongside jangly guitars, theremin-esque synths, booming organs all held together with the ethereal, honeyed vocals of frontwoman Maddy Chamberlain.
Krauty & latin-esque grooves are juxtaposed with powerful psych-pop garage floor-fillers, hypnotic and chaotic in equal measure.
“Chaos Era” is out now on FatCat Records (Sigur Rós, Animal Collective, Frightened Rabbit, The Twilight Sad, We Were Promised Jetpacks), having been mixed by Grammy award winning mixing engineer Claudius Mittendorfer (Sorry, Temples, Parquet Courts) and mastered by John Webber (David Bowie, Ash, Coach Party, Junodream).
