Join us for the Midlands Circus Convention 2026 in Mullingar!Come join us for a weekend filled with circus fun at Lakeland Jiu Jitsu in Mullingar. Whether you're a seasoned performer or just starting out, there's something for everyone at this convention.
Friday 6th - Training Space open from 2.38pm - 9.02pm
Saturday 7th - Training Space open from 10am-8pm, Show at 8:30pm, Renegade at 10:30pm
Sunday 8th - Training Space open from 11am - 5pm. Games at 2pm

Facilities include matted floor, crash mats, lunge belt, 7m tall ceilings, sauna and cold plunge, board games area, gym area with rubber flooring.
Workshops:
There will be a program of workshops taking place from Friday afternoon until Sunday afternoon. We will have a wide range of workshops, from beginners to advanced, more details to be announced. The workshop timetable will be available all weekend for you to put your own workshop up and share your skills.
Gala Show is at 8:30pm on Saturday include a variety of acts. More details to follow.
For those who wish to only attend the show and not rest of the weekend activities, tickets can be bought on the door for €10.
Games
We will be having the customary convention games with a midlands twist, bringing a bit more bog in the games; such as 3 sod (of turf) juggling, Toss the sod, Limbo na Móna, as well as the more traditional games like 3 club gladiators, diabolo toss, 5 ball endurance and many more. Get involved or just watch, this event is not to be missed.
Places to eat
The venue is a 5-10 minute walk to lots of options of cafes and restaurants in town.
Accommodation options include Railway Guest House, Greville Arms Hotel, Annebrook House Hotel, Kerrigans B&B, AirBnB.
Parking is limited at the venue but there is plenty of parking at the train station or the library which are just 5 minutes walk away.
