About this Event
Middlesbrough Voices - Town Hall June Q&A
Fancy a chat with the Mayor of Middlesbrough? Join us in person at the Town Hall this June for a Q&A session.
Middlesbrough Voices is a growing, resident-led space where people from across the town come together to share experiences, explore local issues, and shape what Middlesbrough could and should become.
As part of this ongoing work, we are welcoming Mayor Chris Cooke to join us for a dedicated Q&A session. This is an opportunity for residents to engage directly with the Mayor in an open, honest and constructive conversation about the future of Middlesbrough.
The session will focus on the themes that matter most to residents, including:
- How decisions are made about council priorities and funding
- How community voices can influence change
- Supporting grassroots organisations and community-led activity
- Long-term vision and sustainability for the town
- Opportunities for children and young people
- Tackling health inequalities and access to support
- Civic pride and the future identity of Middlesbrough
Questions have been shaped by previous Middlesbrough Voices sessions to reflect real experiences and concerns from across the community. The aim is not just to ask questions, but to open up a meaningful dialogue about how residents, the council and partners can work together to create lasting change.
What to expect:
- A welcoming, informal environment with food provided
- Time to connect with other residents
- A structured Q&A with the Mayor
- Opportunity for open floor questions and discussion
Middlesbrough Voices is for residents of Middlesbrough. Whether you’ve attended before or are joining for the first time, your voice matters here.
This is a space for listening, sharing and shaping the future of our town — together.
