Come learn about over a Dozen Craft Distilleries that make up Middle Tennessee (Course #354)

There are 5 Whiskey Making Regions in the Mid-South States of Kentucky and Tennessee. Middle Tennessee is the second largest in whiskey priduction world wide and the largest producer of any state in southern United States.

I n this class you will learn about the Distilleries producing 100,000 proof gallons or under that are located within an hour and a half of the State Capital of Nashville, Tennessee.

These would include: the Nelson's GreenBrier Distillery; Corsair Distillery; Tennessee Distilling Group; Leiper's Fork Distillery; Nashville Craft Distillery; Pennington Distillery; Old Glory Distillery; Big Machine Distilleries; Nashville Barrel Company; Company Distilling; Short Mountain Distillery and Wheeler's Raid.

There are twelve Tennessee Whiskey classes taught at Whiskey University.

In order to qualify for the first level of recognition the student must take Bourbon 201 and any other 4 Tasting Classes. After completing these you earn a ”Certificate of Completion” in Basic Whiskey Studies and the title of ”Apprentice Bourbon Taster.”
