About this Event
Middle school students navigate many academic, social, and emotional shifts as they depart childhood and are on the cusp of adolescence. Guest speaker Ms. Jennifer Black, LAPC, Outpatient Therapist and Minister at the Covenant Church of Pittsburgh, will discuss tweens developmental changes, the challenges they face, and the supports they need from adults during these years. Her presentation will be followed by a panel discussion. Panelists are three parents and their tween children. *This workshop is Approved for PA Act 48 Professional Development Hours.
