About this Event
The Mid-Michigan Spartans will host a blended euchre tournament and game watch in the Varsity S Club room at Spartan Stadium. Given the variety of table shapes and sizes in the space, we are planning to host 10 euchre tables (40 players). We have room for 40 additional attendees to watch the game and to serve as back-up players if those registered for the euchre tournament fail to show. It is possible to add more tables to the tourney if participants are comfortable using less ideal table configurations.
The event space opens at 6 p.m. Tournament players must be in the room by 6:20 p.m. to hold their seat in the tournament. Tournament rules will be discussed, and alternate players identified, at 6:20 p.m. Players will shuffle around the room throughout the tournament. This is not a team event. Come with friends or come alone. Parking/arrival instructions and game rules will be sent to registered guests ahead of November 12.
The euchre tournament and the MSU vs Kansas game will begin at 6:30 p.m.
This is a family-friendly event. We are charging $10 per ticket to reduce no-shows and to help cover the expense of the pizza and snacks provided. Adults and children 11+ should have a paid ticket to the event. Children 10 and under are free. Infants and lap toddlers do not require a ticket. If you are playing in the euchre tournament and plan to bring children to the event, please make sure they have a supervising adult who is not in the tournament.
The Mid-Michigan Spartans are not able to use the university's liquor license for the space so THIS IS AN ALCOHOL FREE EVENT. Attendees are welcome to bring preferred beverages to the event, but they can't contain alcohol.

This event is anticipated to fill quickly. The waitlist will be for general entry into the event. There is no waitlist for tournament players. As stated above, the Mid-Michigan Spartans will recruit players from the general audience at 6:20 p.m. to fill any open seats in the tournament arising from cancellations, no shows, or the creation of additional game tables.
