The Mid-Autumn Festival is celebrated on the 15th day of the 8th month of the Chinese lunar calendar, when the full moon graces the night sky. This year, the festival will fall on next Monday, October 6th! It's the perfect time for families and friends to get together, celebrate the harvest, enjoy mooncakes, and honor the Moon Goddess, Chang’e.
Join us in the Storytime Room for a fun and engaging shadow puppet storytime about Chang’e, presented by West High students Sonya, Daniel and Thora. After the show, you'll also have the chance to play with shadow puppets on our illuminated puppet stage!
If you need disability-related accommodations in order to participate in this event, please contact the Library.
This event is open to the public.
