Meet Your Instructor, JOI MEBANE
Highly sought-after lash and brow expert Joi Mebane opened her cosmetics counter and created her namesake line, THE LOOK BY JOI, in 2003. Since then, she has transformed and inspired women with her luxurious products and exceptional eyebrow services.
After 21 years in business Joi continues to keep up with brow and beauty trends and techniques. This lead her to train with Amiea Permanent Makeup Systems in Hong Kong and Chicago and become certified in micro-pigmentation. This helped her to expand her business to include permanent make-up solutions, like microblading.
As a beauty educator, Joi has trained over 3,400 students from across the country on eyebrows and lash techniques. She has helped other beauty professionals make more money with microblading and run a successful business. Joi is a published author, Bronner Brother Award Honoree and a featured educator at Premiere Orlando Beauty International Event.
