The Michigan Horse Expo is one of the top three-day horse exhibitions in the country. 2026 will mark the 43rd Anniversary of the Michigan Horse Expo.The Expo has something for you to enjoy whether you are a horseless horse lover, a new horse owner, or a seasoned professional. Mare owners have the opportunity to view stallions of different breeds from around Michigan in “Equine Alley”.
There are dozens of clinics, seminars and educational events conducted by Michigan’s top horse professionals as well as top horse professionals from around the country. There are more than 200 vendor booths providing excellent shopping opportunities for both you and your horse, and over 300 horses that represent over a dozen breeds!
Thrill to the action of the Michigan High School Rodeo Association’s Friday Night Rodeo, the Michigan Horse Council's 4th Annual Mounted Police Uniform Competition, Extreme Cowboy Challenge Saturday afternoon, Mane Event on Saturday Night, Church Service and Special Guests throughout the weekend! We are also proud to host the Michigan Mounted Police Presentation of the Colors, along with the Great Lakes Horse Power Hour and Equine Highlight Hour showcasing magnificent horses each day.
