Making Rope Education Fun And Accessible Since 2012!The Original Rope Skillshare is coming back! Come join us one Sunday a month for our fun, often irreverent approach to rope education. Admission is only $10 to help support the overhead of the Mothership. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
Don't have rope? We have house rope for you to borrow on a first come basis! We can also help you source rope economically to start your rope journey with.
Now onto the fun stuff. In lieu of a traditional lecture or tie along class, we are taking a more hands-on exploratory approach. We will use an "inspiration tie" to help participants deconstruct and build a tie similar to it. Feel free to submit inspiration tie pictures for future Happy Knots events.
One of the many benefits of this approach is the ability to adapt the tie to who you are tying. "Make your tie fit your person, not vice versa" is one of our core tenets of Happy Knots.
Brand new to tying? We'll have a few experienced hands around to help guide you through the basics. We all have to start somewhere so let this be your jumping off point!
Besides the optional "inspiration tie", the space will also be open for labbing and rope based play. Please keep things rope based, there are plenty of play parties that also happen at the space we'd be glad to tell you about!
