Info: Speaker: Captain Jason Stevens
Jason Stevens is an Emergency Management Captain with the Lansing Fire Department and a key leader supporting the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program and broader emergency preparedness efforts in the Lansing, Michigan area. He has served with the Lansing Fire Department since 2006, bringing nearly two decades of experience as a Firefighter/Paramedic and emergency management professional. In his role with the City of Lansing’s Office of Emergency Management, Captain Stevens is responsible for planning, coordination, and execution of large-scale events, emergency response operations, and FEMA-aligned training and exercises. Captain Stevens works extensively with local, regional, and state partners to strengthen operational readiness and community resilience, including the design and facilitation of multi-agency functional exercises and specialized rescue training.
