31n Coordinators: Connect to share real experiences, tackle challenges, and gain tools to lead school-based mental health in your community
About this Event

The Purpose:

Bringing Michigan’s 31n Coordinators together to learn from one another’s real experience—what’s working, what’s hard, and what’s possible—and leave better equipped to lead school-based mental health in their communities.

Who should attend?

This convening is geared toward supporting our strong network of 31n(6) school-based behavioral health coordinators. If you are an individual that provides coordination and oversight for 31n(6) funded school-based mental health programs you are encouraged to attend.

Why Attend?

The role of a 31n Coordinator is part strategist, part advocate, and full-time bridge-builder. You are the glue connecting mental health resources to the students who need them most. But even the strongest bridges need maintenance and a solid foundation.

This isn't just another meeting; it’s a masterclass in collective impact. We’re bringing together 31n minds from across the state to tackle the unique challenges of school-based mental health.

  • Collaborative Problem-Solving: Participate in breakout sessions where we troubleshoot real-world hurdles and learn from others
  • Resource Exchange: Share your wins, troubleshoot your hurdles, and crowdsource the best solutions from your peers.
  • Community & Connection: Network and build relationships with peers who truly understand the complexities of the 31n landscape.
  • Create: Shift from "what is" to "what’s possible" by co-designing visionary frameworks and innovative strategies that push the boundaries of school-based mental health, ensuring your district is prepared for the future of student care.

Accomodations/Lodging

Please see the below linked document for hotel recommendations. Please note that lodging in this area is limited and these are the three highly recommended hotels to stay in. There is a group rate for the Days Inn but there are only 40 beds available and they are on a first come first serve basis.
