About this Event
What if power isn’t just something rulers and tech bros hold over us, but something woven into everyday life? This course follows philosopher Michel Foucault’s radical shift from mapping the hidden rules of knowledge to uncovering how power makes us who we are.
Across twelve weeks we’ll explore how his methods of “archaeology” and “genealogy” open new ways of thinking about politics, institutions, and subjectivity, and why his ideas still cut so sharply today.
Classes take place in a modern, fully accessible venue in Barbican, London, within walking distance of Barbican, St. Paul’s, and Moorgate Underground stations.
