Join author and edible landscape designer Michael Judd in an exploration of combining form, function and production in your yard. Judd will lead a virtual tour through edible landscapes designed and created in the D.C. Metro area while unearthing the abc’s of how to make your yard more fruitful. Focus will be on water harvesting for successful growing, outdoor mushroom cultivation, creating herb spirals, starting a food forest, choosing uncommon fruits, and much more. Learn new elements to edible landscaping that move away from just annual garden beds and into approachable designs that graft together ease of care, aesthetics and ecological function.
Michael Judd is a popular and well recognized leader in the field of Edible Landscaping. With over 25 years of growing experience, hundreds of successful projects and workshops, author of two popular edible landscaping books, a Master Gardener Trainer, and presenter for notable institutions such as the US Botanical Garden, Smithsonian, and Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello.
