Michael Carbonaro is an actor, magician, and comedian who has built a career turning the ordinary into the extraordinary. Best known as the star of the hit truTV series The Carbonaro Effect, he’s made millions laugh in astonishment by blending quick-witted comedy with jaw-dropping illusions in everyday settings.
On stage, Carbonaro has headlined two hit national tours, with a live show that mixes theatrical magic, sly improv, gleeful trickery, and playful audience participation. Now, he returns with his newest adventure, Michael Carbonaro: WONDERBOY—a tour where audiences discover him as the Hero of Mischief, in a world where magic is the superpower and laughter is the sidekick.
Best known as the star and executive producer of the hit series, THE CARBONARO EFFECT on truTV, Michael Carbonaro has also made frequent television appearances in shows such as Happily Divorced, 30 Rock, Grey’s Anatomy, and CSI Miami. A performing magician since his youth, Carbonaro went on to study experimental theater at New York University with aspirations of entertaining audiences through a variety of theatrical mediums, including hidden-camera magic, which he later showcased frequently on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.”
