ABOUT THE FASHION SHOW:
MLE School’s annual Fashion Show is its marquee event, raising over $350,000 each year to close the gap between tuition and expenses. With over 900 guests and members of the press in attendance, the event supports children and young adults with special needs. One hundred percent of the Fashion Show’s net proceeds benefits the students at MLE, funding the quality programs needed to meet their unique challenges so they can reach their maximum potential and become active members of society.
ABOUT MLE:
MLE School was established in 1977 as a private, non-denomination, 501(c)(3) non-profit school for children and adults with special needs, such as Down Syndrome, Autism, and other intellectual disabilities. Our vision is a community where ALL individuals live with dignity and are treated with respect. Our mission is to provide opportunities for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to exercise their independence and experience life to the fullest. A donation to the Miami Learning Experience School comes with a commitment to use your gift to directly improve the daily life of students with varying intellectual disabilities, providing the services and support necessary to enable our students to fully participate in our community.
