vajon miért érkeztünk? amikor tegnap biztosak lettünk benne, hogy holnap reggel el fogunk indulni, és ezt bizonyítottuk azzal, hogy kikészítettük a ruhánkat és kigondoltuk, mit fogunk reggelizni, miért voltunk annyira biztosak benne, hogy ott a helyünk? legtöbbünkben nem tudatos folyamatok ezek, csak egy valamiféle ősi hívás. időről időre feltesszük magunkban ezeket a kérdéseket, talán válaszokat is kapunk, de valahogy az élet mindig mást igazol.
itt jön a következő kérdés: miért keressük ezeket a válaszokat, miért érdekes, hogy megtaláljuk az okát az indulás utáni vágynak? vagy az okokat a cselekedeteinkre? miért kérdőjelezünk meg mindent folyton? mindenki arra vágyik, hogy csak létezhessen, és az egyébként is nehéz időkben ne kelljen még magunkat is folyton olyan helyzetbe hozni, ahol könnyen elveszíthetjük a talpunk alól a talajt. de az embernek természeténél fogva kell néha a bizonytalanság, kell, hogy válaszokat keressen, és kérdéseket találjon; ez a túlélés egyik alapköve, és ez segít reggelente felkelni. viszont olyan is van, hogy ez az, ami nem enged kikelni az ágyból. elnehezíti az elmét, ezáltal a testet, felhasználjuk a tartalék energiaháztartásunkat, és napokig csak az ágy biztonságára vágyunk. ilyenkor jön képbe a közösség!
egy közösség, ami felé kinyújthatjuk a kezünket, és amivel eddig egyedül kellett küzdenünk, most a teher szétoszlik.
mivel nem egyszer fordul elő, hogy mi mind ugyanazzal az okkal indulunk útnak: megtalálni azt, amit már az indulás pillanatától, sőt már az előző napokban, talán években kerestünk. sejtjük, hogy az ok közös, kimondani mégsem merjük, pedig a kollektív tapasztalás hatalmas terhet vesz le az egyénről. abban a pillanatban, ahogy lerántjuk a leplet, a szégyen is megszűnik, az a szégyen, amelyik napról napra bénítja a lelket. bár a lélekre negatívan hat, testünket mégsem tudjuk megállítani, hogy ne lépjen újra a szégyen útjára. szeretnénk végre titkok nélkül élni és cselekedni
– ebből a vágyból született meg ez a kiállítás is, hogy közösen leszedjük magunkról az elvárások, a prekoncepciók, a titkolózás terhét. teremtünk egy teret, ahol végre mind kimondhatjuk.

why did we arrive? when yesterday we became certain that we would set off tomorrow morning -and proved it by laying out our clothes and deciding what we would have for breakfast - why were we so sure that we belonged there? for most of us, these are not conscious processes; rather, they feel like some kind of ancient call. from time to time we ask ourselves these questions. perhaps we even receive answers, yet somehow life always confirms something else.
and then the next question arises: why do we search for these answers? why does it matter to us to find the reason behind the desire to set off - or the reasons behind our actions? why do we constantly question everything? everyone longssimply to exist, and in already difficult times not to have to place ourselves again and again in situations where the ground can easily disappear beneath our feet. yet by nature, humans sometimes need uncertainty. we need to search for answers and discover new questions; it is one of the foundations of survival, and it is what helps us get up in the morning. but there are also times when this is exactly what keeps us from getting out of bed. it weighs down the mind, and through it the body; we use up our reserves of energy and for days we long only for thesafety of the bed.
this is when community comes into view.
a community we can reach out to -where the struggle we once faced alone can now be shared, and the burden dispersed.
because it happens more than once that we all set out for the same reason: to find something we have been searching for since the very moment of departure -perhaps since the days before, perhaps for years. we sense that the reason is shared, yet we rarely dare to say it out loud. and yet collective experience can lift an enormous weight from the individual. the moment we pull away the veil, shame disappears as well - the shame that paralyzes the soul day after day. though it weighs heavily on the soul, we still cannot stop our bodies from stepping again onto the path of shame. what we long for, finally, is to live and act without secrets.
this exhibition was born from that desire: to collectively shed the burdens of expectations, preconceptions, and secrecy. we are creating a space where, at last, we can all speak.
