Palm Springs Mod Squad Architecture Tour
This tour focuses on the six architects who made Palm Springs the modern city it is today. We see the works of William Cody, Albert Frey, Hugh Kaptur, William Krisel, E. Stewart Williams and Donald Wexler along with many others that have been influenced by Southern California Modernism. This is an exterior tour of the iconic Desert Modern architecture of Palm Springs.
Palm Springs Aerial Tramway Ride N Lunch
The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway—the world’s largest rotating tram car—travels over 2.5 miles along the breathtaking cliffs of Chino Canyon, transporting riders to the pristine wilderness of the Mt. San Jacinto State Park. During your approximately ten-minute journey, tram cars rotate slowly, offering picturesque and spectacular vistas of the valley floor below.
Once you reach the Mountain Station—elevation 8,516 feet—enjoy lunch that has been prepared for the group, observation decks, State Park Visitors Center and natural history museum, two documentary theaters, a gift shop and over 50 miles of hiking trails.
