After Zurich, he joined the ensemble of the Hessian State Theatre in Wiesbaden, where his roles included Wolfram von Eschenbach in Wagner’s Tannhäuser, Figaro and Conte Almaviva in Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro, Papageno in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte, Figaro in Rossini’s Il barbiere di Siviglia, Jeletsky in Tchaikovsky’s The Queen of Spades, Peter in Humperdinck’s Hänsel und Gretel, Sharpless in Puccini’s Madama Butterfly and Fritz Kothner in Wagner’s Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg. He has performed extensively across Europe as a song-recitalist, in Austria, Germany, Netherlands, France, Spain, Hungary, Czech-Republic, Italy and United Kingdom, in venues such as Wiener Musikverein, Wiener Konzerthaus, Mozarthaus Wien, The Liszt Academy, Budapest, St Martin-in-the-Fields, London, and National Concert Hall, Dublin.
