Spring is around the corner which means it’s time to have another Mezrab Storytelling Day! That’s right a WHOLE DAY full of stories!
We started doing these storytelling marathons a few years ago – to celebrate World Storytelling Day and the arrival of spring. And while the date can shift ever so slightly (for practical reasons we stick to the weekends) by now it has become a tradition that we are happy to share with hundreds of people.
So what does it mean? it means that on March 22 we are going to have 12 hours of storytelling from noon to midnight (or something close to that we are clearly not the most punctual people). It’s a great day to hang out at Mezrab with your friends in daytime (and in the evening of course!) to hear lots and lots and lots of great stories and to meet the spring surrounded by the sweetest people!
The whole day is guided by themes and this year we are uncovering mysteries of the humankind from head to toe. Every two hours we’ll listen to stories inspired by a different part of a human body! The stories will range from the most abstruct connections to the theme (green THUMB? being hot HEADed? finding your FOOTing?) to quite literal ones (growling stomach ruining someone’s day perhaps??). Let’s see what the day brings!
So come and enjoy this crazy marathon with us be that for one hour or six (or twelve!?) bring friends bring flowers and bring ears to listen….
