Mette Juul has gained noticeable acclaim for her incomparable vocal skills and heartfelt interpretations. Juul released her fourth album Change on Universal Music in September 2019, followed by New York- Copenhagen in March 2020. The music has greatly expanded her listenership and harvested great reviews worldwide.
In 2015, upon the release of her third album "There is a song" (Universal Music)- her career really took off. An album she recorded in New York with Danish pianist Nikolaj Hess, Ambrose Akinmusire on trumpet, Rodney Green on drums, Joe Sanders on bass and the guitarist Mike Moreno.
This release in a way solidified Mette Juul’s musical signature, where she manages to fuse the Nordic melancholic sound with the dynamic American Jazz heritage.
