Metropolitan Garage belongs to Repair Cafe International. The Repair Cafe Movement started in Amsterdam in 2009. It’s a simple idea: neighbors helping neighbors fix things instead of throwing them away. That spirit fits right in up here! On Saturday, May 9th, Metro Garage hosts the METRO Repair Cafe from 10am to 1 pm. Bring your broken lamps, mixers blender, and our technicians and volunteers will help you fix it.
$40 to register and all proceeds go to support the Folk School. Register by May 6! Don’t forget to name the item you are bringing!
