We’ve excited to announce our first official social event for 2026 with thanks to Darrin & Janelle Chaffey for organising…You’re invited to come along to the Metro FC Race night. Be track side to experience the fun and live action this evening never disappoints and is also very enjoyable!!
How to Race
• Bets for WIN ONLY - no place dividends paid
• All bets in multiples of $2.00
• 50% of total bets - divided & paid to punters on the winning horse, remaining 50% of total bets - proceeds go to club fundraising
• When you place a bet you receive a Ticket, you will need to produce this ticket to collect!!!!!
• 6 Horses - in every race
• 6 Jockeys - from the crowd needed for every race
• 6 races - in total on the tonight - (so you can budget)
• The number on the dice thrown dictates which horse moves 1 space forward.
• First horse to cross the finish line WINS
• Be guided by the screen
• It will tell you when you can place your bets
• It will tell you when the bets are closed
• It will tell you when you can collect
• Those that can't attend, but would still like to contribute, betting sheets will be available at the bar from the Wednesday prior to the event.
