WELCOME to the 21st Annual 28th Street Metro Cruise!Metro Cruise is a 2 day celebration of family, friends, food, music, and entertainment surrounding the love of the car. Join us at the "Main Event" at Rogers Plaza Town Center parking lot in Wyoming, the epicenter of activity for Metro Cruise. Admission is FREE to all areas of the event!
***Note the slight change in hours this year: Friday is 2pm-8pm, Saturday is 11am-7pm. This is only for this Main Event site; if you're enjoying the event elsewhere, check with the property owner for their hours***
CARS - walk the famous Collector Car Row lineup - a diverse collection of 240+ collector cars. Show cars are placed throughout the entire event site. What's unique about this collection is it's diversity, as almost all are from private local owners. See a 1923 Ford T-Bucket, and a 2025 Chevy Camaro ZL1 Hennessey, and everything in between!
LOCAL BUSINESS SPONSORS - There will be giveaways, freebies, and games from 40+ sponsors and vendors.
METRO-MERCH - Be sure to pick up some official Metro-Merch from our merchandise collection, located at the west end of the venue near the Metro-Main Stage.
SHUTTLE - Our shuttle service partnership with The Rapid bus system continues this year. Park at either the Wyoming High School parking lot or the Kent District Library - Wyoming Branch parking lot, and avoid the hassle of trying to find parking in or near Rogers Plaza. Parking and Shuttle rides are completely FREE and loop every 10 minutes during the Event hours (2p-8p Friday, 11a-7p Saturday).
FOOD COURT presented by Honor Credit Union - come enjoy some awesome food from our 24 food vendors. We book a diverse assortment of concessions, food trucks, food trailers, and pop-up tents. BBQ, smash burgers, sausages, authentic tacos, quesadillas, pizza, hot & iced coffees, fresh lemonade, elephant ears, shave ice, cotton candy, sno-cones, funnel cake, and so much more...
KIDS ENTERTAINMENT - The Cumulus Media Kids Entertainment Tent, located in Metro Square near the stage, is the center for activities for kids. Face painting, rock painting, coloring sheets, and wooden building kits will be there. Nearby, we'll also have a paintball tunnel, climbing wall, scavenger hunt, and more!
METRO-MAIN STAGE - There will be 7 live performances on the Metro-Main Stage throughout the event. All are FREE admission! There is some bleacher seating, or bring a portable chair. Watch this page or check our website as the lineup is announced.
MISS METRO CRUISE® FINALE - Catch this special Finale show featuring the final 10 pin-up contestants on the Metro-Main Stage - Saturday at 3:00pm. This is a judged competition with local celebrities and lots of crowd interaction. Come see and cheer on these beautiful ladies at this long-running Metro Cruise event, and see who is crowned Miss Metro Cruise 2026!
LUCKYS SELF SERVE DYNO - Walk further down Plummers Disposal Metro Way to the east, and find one of the most popular features at the Main Event - the Dynamometer car testing area. See high-end sports cars and souped-up classics roar to 160mph+ right in front of you! Location will be in front of the Planet Fitness storefront at the east end of Rogers Plaza. If you're interested in participating, registration is open now. Hours are Friday 2pm-8pm, Saturday 11am-7pm.
NO BURNOUTS - A fair warning that all areas of Metro Cruise have a strict no-burnout policy. This again will strongly be enforced by the police. Our venue is very busy, with pedestrian walkways and viewing areas very close to the road. Safety is our #1 priority.
VOLUNTEERS - We need YOU! We have 15+ different roles, including: Kid’s Tent Supervisor, Dyno Viewing Area support, Survey Team, Event Improvement Consultant, Venue Set Up, Information Tent support. Some shifts are as short as 3 hours, and all will receive a FREE T-shirt, snack, and drink.
