Metro Carvers of Michigan - Artistic Creations in Wood

Now in its 44th year, Artistic Creations in Wood celebrates the enduring craft of wood carving. Presented by the Metro Carvers of Michigan, this annual show welcomes both dedicated carvers and those simply curious about the art of working in wood.
Held at the Packard Proving Grounds Historic Site, the event features original carved works on display and for purchase, live carving and turning demonstrations, and juried competitions spanning multiple carving disciplines. Visitors are invited to engage directly with the artists, learn about the creative process, and cast a vote in the People’s Choice awards alongside fellow attendees.
