Wydała albumy pod patronatem Virgin Babylon Records, Orange Milk Records i Glossy Mistakes. W 2025 roku ma wydać nowy album i antologię tekstów.
Jej muzyka często stara się uchwycić ślady obecności i subtelności atmosfery, która zamieszkuje konkretne przestrzenie - rezonującą jak delikatne wydarzenie, które pochłania powietrze, gesty i słowa, przekształcając się z każdym występem.
Jej występ rozpocznie się krótką sceną teatralną stworzoną z członkami japońskiej grupy teatralno-muzycznej sewing situation, a następnie odbędzie się solowy występ Metoronori.

Sonia Surma pracuje ze słowami i z dźwiękiem. Autorka wierszy, miksów i audycji radiowych (HKCR, NTS, radio.syg.ma, Radio Bollwerk i inne). Tego wieczoru zagra specjalnie kuratorowany set DJ-ski.

Metoronori (Hikari Matsuda) is a Tokyo/Chiba-based composer who has been active since 2012, creating electronic pop music infused with voice, poetry, and improvisation. She has released albums on Virgin Babylon Records, Orange Milk Records, and Glossy Mistakes. In 2025, she is set to release a new album and a lyric anthology.
Her music often seeks to capture traces of presence and the subtle atmospheres that inhabit specific spaces, resonating like a delicate event that absorbs air, gestures, and words, transforming through each performance.
For this concert, the performance will begin with a short theatrical scene created with members of the Japanese theater-music group sewing situation, followed by Metoronori’s solo live set.
sewing situation is a Japanese artist collective that creates interdisciplinary works across theater, dance, sound, and video. In recent years, they have been exploring the theme of physical expression in urban spaces, seeking to reexamine the relationship between performance and audience.
Sonia Surma works with words and sound. Author of poems, mixes and radio broadcasts (HKCR, NTS, radio.syg.ma, Radio Bollwerk and more). For this evening she will play curated dj set.
