Ethnobotany is the study of the interactions between humans and plants, including our use of plants for food, medicine, building material, and cultural symbols. This event is the third class of this year's Ethnobotany Immersion Program offered by the Raven's Roots Naturalist School. This program includes classes and field trips one weekend per month from March to December of 2026. This class is a deep dive into the plants growing around the Methow Valley and their human uses. Camping is included in the program fee. Individual weekends cost $300, or $2500 for the full 10 week immersion. For more information, visit ravensroots.org/ethnobotany.
