改變從來不容易——它是一個過程。
一隻啃食樹葉、緩慢爬行的毛毛蟲，最終會化為展翅飛翔的美麗蝴蝶。
在即興劇中，我們的本能往往也像毛毛蟲一樣「大吃大喝」。
一幕接一幕、一個角色接一個角色，我們把豐富的畫面端給觀眾，彷彿永無止境的盛宴。
但毛毛蟲終究要把自己封進繭裡。
它必須停下來，讓身體進入蛻變的關鍵時刻。
那麼——如果我們在舞台上也這麼做呢？
如果我們將那場景盛宴所累積的能量與慣性「慢下來」、甚至「停下來」，
角色會經歷什麼樣的轉變？
而最後，又會飛出怎樣的蝴蝶？

• a change of the form or nature of a thing or person into a completely different one.
Change doesn't come easily - it's a process. What begins as a crawling caterpillar, gorging itself on leaves, ends up a beautiful butterfly, taking to the air on its magnificent wings.
Our instinct with improv is, like the caterpillar, to gorge ourselves. A feast for the eyes, scene after scene, character after character is paraded before the audience.
But the caterpillar has to cocoon itself. It has to lock itself inside its chrysalis, stop moving, and undergo a radical transformation.
What happens, then, if we do the same onstage? What if we take the energy and the inertia from a feast of scenes, and we slow it down - we stop moving. What kind of transformations will our characters undergo?
And what kind of butterfly will emerge as a result?
Come and see for yourself in FIG's "Metamorphosis," a show that explores choices, consequences, and how we change.

● Refund Policy
1. If cancelled 11+ days before performance, FIG will reimburse 70% of ticket price
2. If cancelled 3-10 days before performance, FIG will reimburse 50% of ticket price
3. If cancelled 2 days before performance, ticket is non-refundable

1. Doors open at 7:30pm for audience seating
2. No outside food or beverage allowed
