Met Police are recruiting!

The Outreach Team are dedicated to promoting career pathways to increase the number of females and people from Black, Asian and Multiple ethnic heritage communities to make the Met more representative of the diversity of London.

Insight sessions are open to anyone with an interest in finding out more about a career with Met Police; we are open, inclusive and promote diversity.

Join an Insight Session to explore your options, find out about the application and recruitment process. We will provide advice so you feel confident to prepare, complete, and submit your application to become a Police Constable.

Find out about the entry pathways and many career opportunities. Meet our experienced Police Officers, who have worked in a variety of roles, hear about their experiences.


Eligibility
  • You must be 18+ to join, (17+ can apply.) Typically, the upper age limit is 57
  • British Citizen, Indefinite Leave to Remain / EU settled status. Lived continuously in UK for 3 year period*

*Doesn’t apply to those serving abroad in the British Armed Forces

We are currently undergoing a significant recruitment drive for Police Constables, we currently have 5 entry pathways available, with a starting salary from £36,775. The pathways are as follows: (click to find out more!)
