Messy Play Tuesdays! ✨🎨Join us for Messy Play at YMCA Newark & Sherwood for babies and pre-school children - where fun meets learning! Children get to take the lead, explore with their hands, and discover a world of textures and materials at their own pace. From squishy foam to baked beans (yes, baked beans!) - it’s all about curiosity, creativity and play-based learning.
Along the way, little ones will be building fine motor skills, problem-solving, early math and science concepts, language, vocabulary and even social-emotional skills… all while having the best time! 💛
Be prepared – things will get messy! Please bring a towel and a change of clothes (or let them dive in with just their nappy on). Don’t worry, we’ll have extra towels on hand too.
