Messy Hands is a joyful kids workshop designed for children aged 4 to 10, where they will explore the world of colors through playful, hands-on activities in a warm and creative environment. Hosted by artist and graphic designer Alaa Safwat, this workshop encourages children to experiment, create, and express themselves freely through art.
Throughout the session, children will enjoy a fun-filled program including color games, color mixing activities, egg coloring, fingerprint art, drawing and painting, and a special moment to share their creations at the end. To make the experience even more memorable, each child will also receive a face painting after the workshop.
The workshop is mainly conducted in Arabic, and is also welcoming to English-speaking kids.
What to expect:
A warm-up and introduction, primary and secondary color cards, color mixing magic, exploring color types, a color hunting game, a color sorting game, egg coloring, a colored fingerprint piece of art, a creative drawing and painting corner, and a “show me your art” moment at the end.
Important details for parents:
Children will attend the workshop independently. Parents are welcome to drop them off at the start time and pick them up promptly at the end. If you need a special arrangement, please contact us in advance and we will do our best to help. Since the workshop includes paints and art materials, please dress your child in comfortable clothes that can get messy. Please also let us know ahead of time if your child has any food allergies or medical conditions we should be aware of.

The workshop takes place at El Warsha, a creative space in Eindhoven, at Kronehoefstraat 85, 5612 HL Eindhoven.
