Messy Church is Church for all the family. It is church for all ages, based on creativity, hospitality and celebration. We meet as Messy Church once a month, on a Saturday morning at St Nicholas Church, Boldon Colliery.
A Messy Church Gathering typically includes a welcome, including some singing and dancing, a bible story, a creative time to explore the story theme through getting messy; a short celebration time involving story, prayer, song, games and similar; and a sit-down meal together at tables. It's lots of fun!
Each month we have a different bible story which is our theme for the session. New families always welcome, no need to book, just turn up.
Lots of free parking is available over the road in Hedworth Lane Primary School playground.
