MESH x HMU Present: Hi Vis - A Queer Rooftop Social

21+ only. This event is open to the public and does not require applying for membership.

For Pride, we’re partnering with MESH, a queer events app launching this summer, for our very first queer only mixer at El Nico. Meet other ENM/poly and kinky queers on a beautiful rooftop in Willamsburg!

Expect the usual: great drinks, fun icebreakers, and a friendly environment but this time, in a queer only space hosted on a rooftop with a stunning view.

In order to make this as accessible as possible for our broader community, we are keeping the price low and opening this one up to the public. We will have extra guardians and precautions to ensure a safer space. So pause your phone for a moment, let’s get mixed!

I'm new, what's this like? These mixer events are usually quite large, with up to 175 people joining us. That means there are plenty of new folks to meet, and hopefully the right types for whatever you're into. We know it might be a little weird--that's okay!

We provide some fun icebreaker games that help you to meet new people. Everything is PG-13, and it's fairly easy to meet new folks—everyone who comes to these events is specifically looking to at least make new friends. So don't be shy, introduce yourself. And if you run into any problems or someone makes you uncomfortable, talk to a guardian with a red armband, and we'll take care of it.

Hit Me Up is New York City’s curated community for poly and kink. We got our start running small events for our friends that quickly outgrew multiple venues. Now we are working to build the kink and poly community that NYC deserves—safer, friendlier, and weirder. We run meetups, parties, and teach kink with House of Yes, Torture Garden, Feeld, and other sex and kink-positive partners.
