Merit Badge University at University of Iowa

Get ready for an awesome day at Merit Badge University held on the University of Iowa campus! This in-person event is perfect for Scouts eager to earn those badges and learn new skills. Scouts will be able to take either one full-day badge or two half-day badges. Make sure to check the registration again, as more badge options may be added. Scouts may switch badges until one week before the event begins; schedule changes are subject to availability. Most badges cannot be completed in one day and require the scout to complete prerequisites before or after the MBU. The cost is $10 per class that a scout is signed up for. Lunch will not be provided, and food is not allowed within Schaeffer Hall, so we kindly ask you plan accordingly. Alpha Phi Omega is a national service fraternity that prides itself on providing community service and philanthropy for those in scouting. Last year, the University of Iowa Omicron chapter hosted over 500 scouts and gave back to the community, reducing the costs for many scouts to attend amazing summer programs!
