A powerhouse orchestral evening uniting the Merced Symphony with student musicians in a vibrant celebration of symphonic and cultural favorites.The Merced Symphony returns to UC Merced for its second annual Side-by-Side Spectacular, bringing together professional musicians with talented students from UC Merced and Merced College for an unforgettable evening of collaboration. Under the baton of conductor Ming Luke, the combined orchestra performs a dynamic program that flows from sweeping romanticism to electrifying Mexican rhythms. This celebration of shared artistry promises to be a highlight of the season — a joyful blend of mentorship, community, and world-class performance.
