About this Event
Join us on Tuesday the 2nd of December at 10am - 12pm in The Inkwell, Francis Pl, Elgin (Teas & Coffees from 9.45 am) to hear about the new MeOC signposting tools to connect people you support with services that can support them.
Making every Opportunity Count (MeOC) Is an approach that has been used by health and social care workers in Moray since 2017. As health and social care professionals, we often engage in a wide range of conversations, and people may seek our advice. MeOC supports these interactions by equipping you with knowledge about local services in Moray and boosting your confidence to signpost individuals to the right support.
Making every Opportunity Count approach links people with the right services in their communities at the right time. The MeOC approach has a focus on early intervention and prevention, encouraging light touch conversations on lifestyle and life circumstances.
Connecting people with services to support with:
- Mental ill-health
- Additional Support needs
- Raising young children
- Ageing well
This session will explain the MeOC approach, demonstrate the resources and give you everything you need to use MeOC in your practice.
There will be opportunity for a Q & A session.
