About this Event

Men's League is about giving and taking; action and receptivity. It’s about practicing being over top and underneath.

Noticing how the nervous system works most effectively when in an active yet relaxed state, we will cultivate more plasticity and range by staying alert and aware while maintaining grounding and containment. Bringing the body into the present moment through breath, sound, and movement, we become available to offer support to our partners and to ourselves. A warm-up to feel gravity leads into facilitation of foundational skills, which help absolute beginners find their way. More experienced dancers will find new ways in, new perspectives, new challenges and new levity.

Men's League is for all levels, ages, abilities, and experience levels. This is a workshop for male-identifying humans who have a passion for learning, movement, creativity and imagination. Come prepared to sweat, breathe, move and feel. Come prepared to touch and be touched. Please advise us in advance if you have accessibility needs, concerns or injuries that may require assistance.
